Lessons

Lessons for saxophone and clarinet can be taught in all styles and genres as well as helping students to prepare for music festivals, RCM exams and university entrance auditions and portfolio prep. So long as the student enjoys the lesson and is having fun while improving. Teaching method is catered to the student's learning style as every student's learning and capability is different. Lessons will be catered based on the goal of the student.

Whether you are interested in assistance in learning the instrument, improving already established skills or starting from the beginning, the expertise of the instructor will encourage and guide you in the right direction of your musical development.

Developing proper academic skills are essential to any musician, theory and ear training will be included in the lessons as students progress.

Lessons can be 45-60 minutes in length. Lesson length is determined by a student's age ability and experience and teacher's suggestion.

OFFERED:

Saxophone (age 10 & up) *depends on student capability - all levels offered

Clarinet (age 8 & up)

*Music theory: basic theory is integrated into lessons

Lessons run in two locations: (based on availability)

The Studio’s aim is to instill excellence in music education as students learn and set a strong foundation in technique, musicianship, intonation as well as musicality while enjoying the process.
